The purpose of life is expansion.
No more, no less.
It’s not about achievement. Goals. Winning.
It’s the breath.
Filling the lungs. Expanding their capacity.
There’s no striving.
No comparing.
Nature doesn't rush.
And yet the tree grows and bears fruit at the proper time.
It’s not about arriving somewhere.
There’s always somewhere else to be.
Nor is it about the journey.
It’s about being.
Presence.
Stillness.
The current moment.
This is bad news for anybody selling something.
Myself included.
Because we don’t need anything.
I have things for sale.
I have insight to offer.
But at the end of the day.
You have to trust that you already have everything you need.
Just be.
