I've participated in my fair share of yoga workshops.
Probably too many, honestly.
Yoga is personal.
So after a time it's detrimental to keep seeking answers externally.
What I've come to realize is that yoga trainings have missed delving into the shadow side.
Because until our shadow self is integrated we cannot be whole.
That is, we must shine light on the dark in order to illuminate.
And yoga is all light.
Therefore it's not a complete picture.
I get why it is that way.
The focus should be on the light.
And yoga does teach that we are already whole.
What I'm saying is, I was never taught about the dark.
About trauma.
My shadow side.
How to integrate all parts of myself.
My anger.
My guilt, fear, and shame.
And what you resist persists.
Discover the complete picture:
Revelation for you is revelation for me, too. Win-win.
